Up the Flag Pole! -Daring Cardmakers Challenge

 Good morning and Happy Friday!

Welcome back to my blog for another new Daring Cardmakers Challenge. This weeks challenge is set by DT member Kathy and its called:

Up the Flag Pole!

There are some wonderful flag designs to be found when you start looking, some simple and elegant others quite bright and colourful.

So this week we would like you to get your inspiration from the flag of a country other than your own - there are plenty to choose from!

You can use a design element from the flag, the layout, the colours...

This web-link has a huge number of flags from all sorts of interesting places which will give you loads of ideas: https://flagpedia.net/index

Don't forget to tell us which country's flag you've used!

I was inspired by the flag of Seychelles and using patterned papers I went about creating the the sunburst design. I adhered each piece to my card base. I then used a fine liner pen to create faux stitches around each of the cut pieces. Then I decided to add fine strips of black card between each patterned piece. To finish it off I added the word smile.

I hope you enjoyed my take on this weeks challenge. Show us some of your creations and don't forget to share on the Daring Cardmakers blog or our Facebook page Daring Cardmakers Create and Share.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I wish you all a very happy weekend. Check out all the inspiration from the DT over on the Daring Cardmakers blog https://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com
