Hello and welcome to my blog! What an amazing summer we're having, love the warm weather and sunshine.
This months Mixed Up Blog Challenge is Stencils. They are great fun to use and you can create so many different effects with them. For my project this month I used a bird and flourish stencil with modelling paste. Once it dried I used drawing inks to colour the bird and flourish, taking care not to go over the modelling paste too much.
Added some shimmer paste with a brush onto the feathers and body. I used silver gliding wax to the outline of the bird and gold for the flourish.
With another stencil I created a background with shimmer paste using the same colours as I used for the bird. To finish it off I used Travel words from the Mixed Up Printables.
