Let's Go 3D - Daring Cardmakers Challenge.

Good Morning and Happy Friday!
So how are we all? I hope you are all keeping safe and enjoying the glorious weather. I'm finding it too hot and sticky and I'm glad its started to cool down a little.

Today I'm back with a new challenge set by DT member Dawn and she wants us to create a 3D project this week. It can be a gift bag, box or any other 3D project. I love creating 3D projects, especially ones that I can use to put treats or little gifts in for someone. I created a gift bag with a flap as a closure. I then decorated the box with patterned papers.

I added a sentiment onto the front flap and added a small bead as decoration. I used velcro dots to keep the flap in place.

Show us some of your creations and don't forget to share on the blog or our facebook page Daring Cardmakers Create and Share.
I hope you like my take on this week's Daring Cardmakers Challenge and have been inspired to create something beautiful.

Thank you so much for stopping by I wish you all a very happy week. Check out all the inspiration from the DT over on the Daring Cardmakers blog https://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com

GLAMOROUS - Daring Cardmakers Challenge

Hello and welcome back to another Daring Cardmakers Challenge. This weeks Challenge is set by DT member Ruth and its called

GLAMOROUS

I do love to dress up for an occasion with a nice outfit, shoes, handbag, jewelry and lipstick. The one one thing that really tops my list of feeling glamorous is Perfume. I chose a perfume bottle for my card which is from a Spectrum noir colorista colouring pad by Crafter's Companion. I used water colour paints to colour the image to bring out the glittered accents.

I fussy cut the image and layered it onto a coordinating piece of card and finished it off with a ribbon bow.

Wing It ! - Daring Cardmakers Challenge

Hello and happy Friday everyone!
Welcome back to another new challenge for the Daring Cardmakers.
This weeks challenge is set by DT member Shabneez and its called;

Wing It!

You can use anything with wings on your cards this week - insects, birds, fairies or even planes!

I knew exactly what I wanted to create for this challenge and used my fairy stamp from AallandCreate by Janet Klein. I created a background using distress oxides and a stencil. I coloured and and arranged my images and added sparkle using Stickles. There you have it a fun and cheerful card to brighten up this dull and miserable morning. I really enjoyed this challenge there's lots to choose from. I hope you'll join in and share your creations, we would love to see.

June's Elemental Inspirational Challenge

Hello and welcome back to my blog for another Daring Cardmakers Challenge. It's the first Friday of the month which means its the June Elemental Inspirational Challenge which is set by Kathy this week. The mood board is full of summery inspiration and lots of elements to choose from.

I created a CAS  (clean and simple) card and started off with a blue gingham background. I stamped and embossed my jar image onto some vellum and coloured on the back with a pale blue alcohol marker. Then I die-cut my image and  another one out of plain white cardstock. I applied wet glue around the edges of the white die-cut jar and placed the vellum piece on top. This way the pale blue shows through giving the illusion of water and glass. I then die-cut some leafy stems and small flowers and arranged them in the jar. I added small pearl gems to the centre of the flowers, some organza ribbon and a sentiment to finish off my card.

I've really enjoyed creating my card using elements from the mood board. All you have to do is choose any three elements and create your card.

I hope you like my take on the Daring Cardmakers challenge and are inspired to create something beautiful.
