A Walk On The Wild Side - Daring Cardmakers Challenge

 Hello and Happy Friday!

Welcome back to another Draing Cardmakers Challenge. This weeks challenge is set by DT member Nat and its called;

A Walk On The Wild Side

I'm inviting you to take a walk on the wild side by featuring animal prints or wild animals on your card.

For my card I used animal print papers from the Finding Paradise collection by Craft Label. After layering them onto my base card I die cut some banners using contrasting colours of cardstock and nested them onto each other. I added a sentiment and some die cut elements to embellish my card.

I hope you enjoyed my take on this weeks challenge. Show us some of your creations and don't forget to share on the Daring Cardmakers blog or our Facebook page Daring Cardmakers Create and Share.

Thank you so much for stopping by and I wish you all a very happy weekend. Check out all the inspiration from the DT over on the Daring Cardmakers blog https://daringcardmakers.blogspot.com

Going Round In Circles- Daring Cardmakers Challenge

Hello and Happy Friday!

Welcome back to my blog for another Daring Cardmakers Challenge. This weeks challenge is set by DT Jenny and she says;  I'd love to see circles of all sizes on your cards, you could use a round card base, a circle frame or include some spotty and dotty patterns.

I used patterned papers and die cut different sized circles and arranged them onto my base card. I added a few fussy cut feathers and a sentiment to finish it off.

I hope you enjoyed my take on this weeks challenge. Show us some of your creations and don't forget to share on the Daring Cardmakers blog or our Facebook page Daring Cardmakers Create and Share.

Oh the Romance!- Daring Cardmakers Challenge.

Hello welcome back to my blog!

I'm back with another new challenge and its called:

Oh, the Romance!

This weeks challenge is set by DT member Kathy and she says; Love comes in all shapes and sizes, doesn't it?  So, although your card could be for a Wedding, Engagement or Anniversary but it doesn't have to be, feel free to celebrate the love you feel for your friends, family, pets...., chocolate? gin?
How about a beautiful card for your best friend, for no other reason than to let them know how much having them in your life means to you.

I created an Anniversary card using Over the Rainbow papers by AB Studio. I layered different papers and die cut the heart shape then added punched flowers and leaves using some of my Fiskers punches. I added some small flags for detail, a few sequins and a sentiment to finish it off.

I hope you enjoyed my take on this weeks challenge. Show us some of your creations and don't forget to share on the Daring Cardmakers blog or our Facebook page Daring Cardmakers Create and Share.

September Elemental Insiration challenge - Daring Cardmakers

Hello and welcome back to my blog!

Its the first Friday of the month, which means its the September Elemental Inspiration challenge, over on the Daring Cardmakers blog. This months mood board is full of inspirational elements set by DT member Svenja. To join in all your need to do is to choose 3 elements for your card. Remember colours count as one element.

I chose stamps, colours, sequins and words for my card. I used papers from the First Edition Bon Voyage 12 x12 pad. I layered a few different sheets to create an interesting background. One of the papers has lots of stamps so I fussy cut a few and adhered them to a wooden stamp frame. I attached them at different angles and at added some sequins and a sentiment to finish it off.

I hope you enjoyed my take on this weeks challenge. Show us some of your creations and don't forget to share on the Daring Cardmakers blog or our Facebook page Daring Cardmakers Create and Share.
