Its the first Friday of the month which means its the July Elemental Inspirational Challenge over on the Daring Cardmakers blog. I am your host for this weeks challenge. I have chosen a mood board full of vibrant summery colours, ice lollies, cool drinks, beautiful flowers and lots more. All you have to do is pick 3 elements for your card and remember colours count as one element. For my card I have chosen flowers, colours, butterflies and textures. Lately I have been using watercolours a lot in my projects and have really enjoyed playing with them and love the effects I can get. For my card I have used a Woodware stamp called Circle Flowers, which I stamped onto watercolour card. Then I applied Nova watercolours to colour the image and the background.
Once dry I created a border around my image with a fine liner pen and stamped the sentiment in black ink. To finish it off I've added some butterflies using similar colours.
